1. White light is::

    Cleverly disguised, its a rainbow with many different colors present.
    Has only one color in it, the only one color of light, white.

2. We see colors because:

    A liquid shoot out at us, into our eyes.
    Some colors of light are absorbed and some colors of light bounces off things
    That's how we know where things are.
    All colors are absorbed into objects, letting us "see.:

    The little elves have run out of crayons.
    All colors have been absorbed, leaving nothing but white.
    All colors are reflected, bouncing off something
    We are not paying attention and do not notice the other colors.
 

4. When we see black, it is because: 

    The little elves have run out of crayons.
    All colors are reflected, bouncing off something
    We are not paying attention and do not notice the other colors.
    All colors have been absorbed, leaving nothing but black.
 

5. When light is absorbed:

    We start to feel "full."
    Things get cold, very cold.
    We turn the same color, inside out, that we absorb.
    It becomes heat and things get warm
